How To Add A Promotional Banner
If you would like to add a 'Promotional Banner' to your website, please follow the steps in this Help Article.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be subscribed to the Marketing product to use this feature.

- Click on the ' TablePath ' logo in the top left.

- Click on ' Marketing' on the left hand side of the page.

- Click on ' Promotions' .

- Click on ' + Add New Promotion'

- To create a banner click on ' One Time Only'

- Select ' Website Announcement' - this will promote an offer on your website only.

- Complete the ' Title' field.

Create a '
Display Title'.
Please note: This title will be used for the public title of this promotion. For example, if you are sending an email as part of this promotion, this title will be used as the subject. If this title is left blank, the title above will be used as the public title.

- Add a ' Date', should you wish for your promotion to be for a specific date.

- If you are adding a website message and would like it to appear after a specific date, enter the date into ' Website Message Active From'.

- If you are adding a website message and would like it to be removed after a specific date, enter the date into ' Website Message Active To'. The message will be removed after this date.

To make the promotional banner active tick '
Is Active'.
If you would to make the banner a recurring feature, tick ' Is Recurring'.

- Click on ' Save' to save the settings for your new promotional banner.

- To edit the message that is presented in your banner, click and type into the ' Message' box. A preview of this will be displayed so that you can see how this looks on the website front end, under ' Preview'.

- If you would like to insert a clickable link into the banner, click on the ' +' symbol.

- If you would like to direct customers to a pre-existing webpage, for example a Menu page; click the drop down list and select the page.

- Enter a title should you wish to alter the clickable text. Default title text is ' Select'.

- Should you wish to enter a custom URL, enter this into the ' Url' field. As above, if you would like to change the clickable text, enter a new word or phrase into the 'Title' box.

- The clickable link will now be displayed in the 'Preview' as shown:

- Click on ' Insert' to insert the clickable link(s).

- Click on ' Publish' in the top right corner. You will then be presented with a pop-up window with a 'Publish Promotion' review; review these details and click on ' Publish' to finalise.

- A new pop-up window will appear which will advise you that ' Your promotion has been published!'. You can either click on 'Close' to close the window or click on 'View Stats' to view the promotion stats.
