How To Set A Cancellation Fee & Notice Period Per Opening Hour
If you would like to set a Cancellation Fee and/or Notice Period per room, per shift or per opening hour; please follow the steps below:
Please Note: This new feature can be used when the cancellation fees and cancellation notice period in the Settings page cannot be applied throughout the platform with the rooms/days/time of the day as default. Therefore, this setting allows for more fine-grained tuning of the settings using the new 'Opening Hours' fields.

- Click on the TablePath logo in the top left.

- Click on Configure at the bottom left hand side of the page.

- Click on Opening Hours.
Quick Link: To go directly to the 'Opening Hours' page, please click here:

- Click on the ' Edit' button (pencil icon) next to the 'Opening Hour' you wish to adjust.

Scroll down to '
Cancellation Penalty Fee' and to set a penalty fee for this particular '
Opening Hour', enter in your preferred figure in this field.
The penalty fee (per person) that can be charged if the reservation is marked as a no-show or late cancellation.

To set a particular
notice period for this '
Opening Hour', enter in the amount of notice in hours that a customer must give before their reservation is cancelled, into the
'Cancellation Notice In Hours' field.
Not meeting that required notice can result in the cancellation penalty fee being applied.

- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ' Save' to implement your new settings.
