How To Setup The Opera Cloud Links Into TablePath

There are 2 different links to setup in Opera Cloud, that launch TablePath with the relevant details for a booking: one for reservations and one for blocks.

Adding the link for Reservations

1. Go to the Opera Cloud page. If should be in the format https://mtce12.oraclehospitality.<region>.ocs.oraclecloud.com/OPERA9/opera/operacloud
2. Click on the menu icon (top left of screen)
3. Click on 'Settings'
4. Under Customization, click 'Hub/Property Level' and then click 'Save'. You should see a warning section at the top of your page that says 'Customizing for <CHAIN CODE>'.
5. On the main menu, click 'Bookings > Reservations > Manage Reservation'.
6. Search for a reservation and open any of them by clicking on the link for the Confirmation Number.
7. Click on the settings icon (the cog wheel) on the right side of the booking.
8. Click 'Add Field > Flex Field > Add Link'. This should open a new window for adding a link to your reservations page.
9. In the new window, enter 'Manage TablePath Bookings' for the Text field.
10. Under the Destination section, click on the code button (it's the </> button) to bring up the page to enter the URL. The URL to enter is https://manage.tablepath.com/admin/reservations/opera-cloud?id=#{bindings.ConfirmationNo.inputValue}&arrival=#{bindings.TruncArrival.inputValue}&departure=#{bindings.TruncDeparture.inputValue}&phone=#{bindings.PhoneNumber.inputValue}&email=#{bindings.EmailAddress.inputValue}&name=#{bindings.GuestDisplayName.inputValue}&room=#{bindings.Room.inputValue}&ratecode=#{bindings.RateCode.inputValue}&adults=#{bindings.Adults.inputValue}&children=#{bindings.Children.inputValue}
11. Click 'Evaluate' and then click 'Apply'.
12. Make sure the 'Displayed' option is set to 'Yes'
13. Tick the box for 'Launch URL in New Tab'.
14. Click 'Save' and then click 'Close Customize'. You should now see a new link added to your reservations page called 'Manage TablePath Bookings' that opens the TablePath page for that particular booking.

Adding the link for Blocks

1. Go to the Opera Cloud page. If should be in the format https://mtce12.oraclehospitality.<region>.ocs.oraclecloud.com/OPERA9/opera/operacloud
2. On the main menu, click 'Bookings > Blocks > Manage Block'.
3. Search for a block and open any of them by clicking on the link for the Block ID.
4. Click on the settings icon (the cog wheel) on the right side of the booking.
5. Click 'Add Field > Flex Field > Add Link'. This should open a new window for adding a link to your reservations page.
6. In the new window, enter 'Manage TablePath Bookings' for the Text field.
7. Under the Destination section, click on the code button (it's the </> button) to bring up the page to enter the URL. The URL to enter is https://manage.tablepath.com/admin/reservations/opera-cloud?id=#{bindings.BlockId.inputValue}&arrival=#{bindings.StartDate.inputValue}&departure=#{bindings.EndDate.inputValue}&name=#{bindings.BlockName.inputValue}&ratecode=#{bindings.RateCode.inputValue}
8. Click 'Evaluate' and then click 'Apply'.
9. Make sure the 'Displayed' option is set to 'Yes'.
10. Tick the box for 'Launch URL in New Tab'.
11. Click 'Save' and then click 'Close Customize'. You should now see a new link added to your reservations page called 'Manage TablePath Bookings' that opens the TablePath page for that particular booking.

Disabling Customize Mode

After setting up the 2 different links for reservations and blocks, you'll need to disable the customizing mode. Please do the following:

1. Click on the menu icon (top left of screen)
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Under Customization, click 'Off' and then click 'Save'. You should no longer see the Customizing warning section at the top of your page.
