How to fix 'Invalid Guest Portal URL' error in Guest Portal kiosk mode

If you are seeing the error 'Invalid Guest Portal URL' in the kiosk mode for your Guest Portal, it's because of one of the following:

  • The public IP address for your network has changed, and/or;
  • You're using a different browser or device to the one you retrieved the kiosk mode URL from.

The kiosk mode for Guest Portals is linked to the device you retrieved the URL from so any deviations from this will result in that error appearing.


To fix the issue, you will need to get a new kiosk mode URL from the TablePath portal:

  • Go to 'Configure > Guest Portals'.
  • Click the edit button (pencil icon) for the Guest Portal you want to use for the kiosk.
  • Click 'Link'
  • Select 'Kiosk' from the dropdown list.
  • Click 'Copy' to copy the kiosk mode URL to your clipboard.
  • Paste the URL into your browser address bar to go the Guest Portal in kiosk mode.
