How To Enable PIN Codes For Reservations

If you would like to enable PIN codes for Staff Members; for adding, editing and cancelling reservations, please follow the steps below:

Click on the TablePath logo in the top left.

Click on Configure at the bottom left hand side of the page.

Click on Settings.

Click on ' Staff'

Toggle the switch next to ' Enable Pin Codes For Reservations' to ' ON'

' Time For Resetting Logged In Staff Member' - this setting allows you set the number of seconds the PIN code is used for, before it times out and have to be entered again.

If you set the timeout as 0, you'll need to enter your PIN code each time you add, edit or cancel a reservation.

If you set the timeout to 120, for example, the system will remember the PIN code for 120 seconds and will then ask for the PIN code again.

When that's done, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ' Save'.

PLEASE NOTE: Before using PIN codes, you'll need to setup each staff member with their own unique PIN code. Please see the following Help Article on setting up PIN codes for staff: https://help.tablepath.com/article/115-how-to-add-a-new-staff-member
