How To Add A Reservation

The following Help Article will assist you through adding a new reservation using TablePath.

Click on the ' TablePath' logo in the top left.

Click on ' Reservations' .

Quick Link: If you are already logged into the TablePath Dashboard, click on the following link to jump straight to the 'Reservations':

Click on '+ New' near the top right-hand corner of the page.

If you have enabled PIN codes, you will need to enter in your PIN to move to the next step.

Select the room you would like the reservation to apply to.

Select the date,

Input the number of guests; this can be typed in or you can use - or + to adjust the number.

Select a time for the reservation, this will become green when selected.

If a time is fully booked or blocked, this will appear red.

Please Note: should you wish to enter a booking into the system that is marked as red, you will need to manually select the tables to be assigned for the reservation.

After this, click 'Next'. You will then be brought to the next page; please fill out the 'Customer Details' accordingly.

Should you wish to add notes to the customer's reservation enter the details into the 'Notes' field. Should you wish to add notes to the customer's profile, which will be visible on all subsequent reservations, please enter these details into the 'Customer Notes' box.

'Customer Groups' is an optional field. Please select a customer group at your discretion. Then select 'Add To Mailing List' if the customer wishes to be sent offers and promotions.

Should you wish to capture a customer's credit card details to secure their reservation, tick the box 'Request Payment Card Via Email'.

You will then be presented with a 'Reservation Review'. Please check that all of the customer's details are correct. Once you are happy, click 'Save'

Finally, a green banner will appear, which is confirmation that the reservation has been saved successfully.
