How To Import Bookings Into TablePath

If you are looking to import your existing bookings into your new TablePath account; you will first need to export these bookings from your existing system into a CSV file. For steps on how to achieve this, please click on the following link: How To Export Your Bookings From ResDiary

Once you have completed the steps from the above document, and are ready to learn how to import your bookings into TablePath, please follow the steps below:

Click on the TablePath logo in the top left.

Click on Configure at the bottom left hand side of the page.

Click on Import under the ' Reservations' header.

Click on ' Select CSV File' and select the file to upload.

Once the file is selected, it will be shown with the title in a green box. Next, select ' Your current reservations provider' by selecting from the dropdown, and then click ' Validate'.

If your CSV file passes all of the validation checks, you can then click on the ' Review' button to move onto the next stage.

If there are any discrepancies between the CSV file and the restaurant settings, these will be presented in a yellow warning box. Fix any errors that may be presented and try these steps again.

A list of your bookings will be presented, review these imports and then select ' Start Import Of Reservations'.

Once this is completed, the green notifcation box will advise you as to how many imports have succeeded and failed.

Any error messages with bookings will be displayed in the ' Status' column, as to why a reservation import has failed.

Next, click ' View Summary'.

A ' Summary Of Your Reservations Import' will be presented advising you of the following details:
  • Total Reservations To Import
  • Reservation Imports Attempted
  • Reservation Imports Succeeded
  • Reservation Imports Failed
  • Time Taken To Complete Import

Should you wish to have a summary of all of this information, input the ' Recipient Email Addresses', and then select ' Send'.

The ' Summary Of Your Reservation Import' email will look similar to the following example:
