How To Setup A New Booking Page

To setup a custom booking page for a particular room or shift (lunch, afternoon tea, dinner etc.), please do the following:

  1. Go to the Website section (https://manage.tablepath.com/admin/website).
  2. Click on 'Content'.
  3. On the left side, click on the Add button (plus icon) beside 'Unlinked Pages'.
  4. For 'Page Type' select 'Empty'.
  5. For 'Title', type in the name of the booking page (e.g. Dinner Bookings)
  6. The 'URL' field will be filled automatically as you type in the 'Title' field. Please do not change this unless you need to.
  7. Tick the 'Is Visible On Website' checkbox.
  8. Click 'Save'.

That will create a new booking page for you but without the booking form. To add the booking form, please do the following:

  1. Click 'ADD PAGE BLOCK'.
  2. Select the 'Restaurant' tab.
  3. Click 'Reservations Flow'.
  4. Select the rooms you want to be included in the booking form. Please note: if you select a room and it's still not visible on the booking page, please make sure the room is available for online selection in 'Configure > Rooms & Tables'.
  5. Select the sitting (lunch, dinner etc.) that the booking form is for. If you want it for all sittings, please leave it blank.
  6. Select a minimum and maximum number of covers that are allowed to book. If you leave these blank, the minimum will be set to 1 and the maximum will be set to the maximum set in your settings (Configure > Settings > Reservations > Max People Per Reservation'.
  7. If you want all times to be displayed for people bookings, regardless of whether it's available or not (unavailable times will be in red and unclickable), tick the 'Display All Times' checkbox.
  8. If you want to make certain days of the week as unavailable, please set them in the 'Invalid Days' field. To set Mondays as inactive, for example, please enter "w1". To set Mondays and Tuesdays as inactive, please enter "w1","w2". The codes for each day of the week are: Sunday => w0, Monday => w1, Tuesday => w2, Wednesday => w3, Thursday => w4, Friday => w5, Saturday => w6.
  9. If you've set some days of the week as unavailable but would like to set some specific dates within those as being available, please set them in the 'Valid Dates' field. Use this field to set specific dates as active. The format for the date should be "MM/DD". For example, to set the 14th of May as an active date, please enter "05/14".
  10. Click 'Save'.
  11. If you're happy with the booking form, click the 'Publish' button at the top of the page.

Once you've completed these steps, your booking page is setup and ready to use.
