How To Add A New Table

If you're looking to add a new table to one of your rooms, please see the steps below. We recommend that your table setup in TablePath matches the physical table setup within your premises. This is to avoid any chance of overbooking tables.

1
Click on the ' TablePath' logo in the top left.

2
Click on ' Configure' at the bottom left hand side of the page.

If you're unable to see the 'Configure' link, please see the following: https://help.tablepath.com/article/320-configure-link-missing

3
Click on ' Rooms & Tables'.

Quick Link: If you are already logged into the TablePath Dashboard, click on the following link to jump straight to the 'Rooms & Tables':

https://manage.tablepath.com/admin/configure/rooms

4
Next to the 'Room' you wish to add a new table to, click on 'Tables'. If you wish to add a 'New Room' please head to the following Help Article for the steps.

5
Click on 'Add New'.

6
Fill in the 'Title' of the table, along with the number of seats this table has.

N.B. 'Seats' field must be entered as a number only.

7
Enter the minimum number of guests allowed at this table.

N.B. This field requires a number only.

!
PLEASE NOTE: If you're setting the table up for the order taker, please make sure to select the applicable table in the ' Volante Table Name' section. If that list is blank, it means your Volante integration has either not been configured or TablePath is having problems connecting to your Volante system.

Please contact Support at support@tablepath.com if that happens to be the case.

8
If you wish to request contact details for orders, please ensure that the following box is ticked - however this setting is not mandatory.

9
Enter the 'Priority' number. This affects the order in which reservations are allocted to the tables. The lower the number the higher the priority. It is always best practice to start with a high number such as 100 to give yourself room to alter the sorting numbers in the future.
10
Tick 'Is Active' to make the new table active.

11
Finally, click 'Add New Table' to save all of your settings and to create your new table.
